When you request an approval on a workflow step, you can assign it to a colleague and leave a note about the approval.

You can also set a priority level (e.g. “step is required, and is a blocker”), so you can set the right expectations with the assignee.

For example, when you request your CFO to sign off on next year’s budget plan, they’ll get a Slack notification and email with the workflow and approval information they’ll need.

Assignees also get specific reminders before the due date to help make sure the workflow gets completed on time.
